I am truly grateful that Lens MAGAZINE has once again dedicated an article to my photographic work. Following last year’s cover story, it means a great deal to me to return in the March 2026 issue (No. 135) with a feature on the back cover as part of “The State of Humanity.”
The featured series, “The Poetry of Dust and Horn,” presents images from my recent journey to South Sudan, where I spent time with the Mundari people. Their world is shaped by cattle, earth, smoke, and an intimate rhythm of life that feels both ancient and immediate. In this environment, dust becomes atmosphere, and horns become symbols. My photographs explore the connections between humans and animals, between tradition and survival, and between the visible and the felt.
Being able to share this work on such an international platform, and to see it presented so beautifully, fills me with both joy and humility.
I am also delighted that my lecturer of the photography college, Helga Partikel, foto.kunst.kultur took the time to share her encouraging perspective on my Lens Magazine article on her blog.
