One of my recent photographic works has been selected for publication in the latest issue of Dodho Magazine — an international platform that celebrates contemporary photography from around the world. What makes this moment especially meaningful to me is that an international jury selected only five contributions for this edition… and my work is among them.
The featured series, titled “Poetry of Dust and Horn,” is a project very close to my heart. It tells a visual story about the Mundari people of South Sudan — their deep connection to their cattle, their traditions, and the powerful, almost poetic relationship between humans, animals, and landscape. The Mundari culture is rich with symbolism and resilience, and I aimed to capture not only their daily life, but also the quiet dignity and beauty that defines it.
Being recognized in this way is both an honor and a motivation to continue telling stories that matter — stories that connect us across cultures and remind us of the diversity and depth of human experience.
I’m truly grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who has supported my work along the way.
If you’re interested, I warmly invite you to explore the latest issue #36 of Dodho Magazine and discover the selected works.
