Two Stories. Four Awards. One Passion.

I am deeply honored to share my results from the 2026 European Photography Awards (EPA) — with two of my photographic stories receiving multiple awards.

The Poetry of Dust and Horn

2 × PLATINUM WINNER

  • Platinum — People Photography – Culture
  • Platinum — Editorial Photography – Feature Story

This recognition means a great deal to me. The Poetry of Dust and Horn, photographed in South Sudan, explores the extraordinary relationship between the Mundari people and their cattle — a world shaped by dust, ash, smoke, tradition and an ancient way of life.

Receiving Platinum in both categories is an especially wonderful honor and a strong recognition of the story as both a cultural and editorial body of work.

Where Stone Still Prays

PLATINUM + GOLD WINNER

  • Platinum — Editorial Photography – Feature Story
  • Gold — Editorial Photography – Religious

Where Stone Still Prays takes me to Lalibela, Ethiopia, and its ancient rock-hewn churches. The series explores faith, devotion and the quiet spirituality I encountered among pilgrims and local people.

Having both stories recognized at such a high level is incredibly rewarding. Different places, different stories, but the same passion: using photography to tell human stories and create a connection with worlds beyond our own.

I am truly grateful to the people who allowed me to photograph their lives and to the European Photography Awards jury for recognizing these stories.
